Joseph Lavoie

MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Joseph Lavoie is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He received his Master of Science in Nursing at Northeastern University and completed undergraduate study at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. His training stressed the importance of taking a comprehensive approach to providing individualized care to patients of all ages. His experience includes providing medical and psychiatric nursing care for patients in a variety of clinical settings including direct patient care for patients with acute and chronic mental health care needs at several in-patient hospitals, Emergency Department Nursing, Director of Education for one of the nation’s largest behavioral health providers, in academia as a Clinical Instructor for Northeastern University’s undergraduate nursing program and most recently as a provider serving the Greater Boston area in an outpatient group practice setting.

He finds a great sense of privilege and satisfaction in helping clients overcome personal struggles and achieve their optimal potential for mental, emotional, and physical health.

Makayla Silva, BSN, RN

Medical Receptionist

Makayla Silva is a skilled and compassionate registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northeastern University. She brings a diverse clinical background with extensive experience as a medical-surgical travel nurse, providing care across a variety of high-acuity settings including respiratory, liver and kidney transplant, oncology, ortho trauma, float pool, and emergency departments. Her adaptability and broad clinical expertise have allowed her to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in multiple hospital systems.In addition to her travel nursing experience, Makayla served as a staff oncology nurse with a focus on bone marrow transplant, where she provided specialized care to immunocompromised patients undergoing complex cancer treatments. This role further deepened her commitment to evidence-based practice, empathetic communication, and holistic care.

Makayla is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing at Regis College with a focus on becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is passionate about expanding access to comprehensive, community-based care and empowering patients through education, advocacy, and preventive health.
